The Picha Project

About
Since January 2016, the Picha Project have been running a food catering business, with menus consisting of authentic traditional dishes prepared by refugee families from countries such as Myanmar, Pakistan Palestine, Syria and Iraq as a means of income. The Picha Project caters for various events, including those of companies and universities, and have given back RM35,000 to participating families.

Mission
The Picha Project empowers marginalised groups in Malaysia to be more self-sustainable by providing them a platform to cater food to the public. They aim to create a sustainable model to enable these groups to be financially independent & productive individuals of society.
