Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Responsibilities:
- To plan, control, manage and lead the Treasury and financial operational controls towards achieving the financial performance, customer, internal process and learning growth targets of the Company
- To provide financial advice, where required, for all key management decisions and assist in developing business goals, tactical plans in achieving business objectives between the business units
- To participate in the annual budget planning exercise with regard to target setting, development of action plans and allocation of resources towards achievement of strategic goals
- To develop action plans for the implementation of strategic cost management
- To direct the implementation of an integrated performance management system (including performance management)
- To advise on organisational structure and management processes needed to improve clarity of job responsibilities, communication and coordination amongst the departments
- To develop a strategic plan and strengthen management of IT
- To direct the review and improvement of critical business processes to improve customer service turnaround time
- To direct implementation of basic service level measurement and internal customer satisfaction survey to cultivate customer service mindset
- To work with key stakeholders in the selection of new branch locations and growing the Company’s branch network
- To oversee the implementation of formal processes, policies and procedures to enhance transparency in the selection of vendors/suppliers and in procurement. Advise and facilitate in effective leveraging the strategic cooperation and knowledge transfer within Maybank Group
- To support the CEO in the overall management of the Company and actively participate in key management initiatives
Requirements:
- Possess excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- Degree from a recognized University, Master of Business Administration or other post graduate qualification and professional qualifications
- At least 8 years relevant experience in a managerial position
Officer, Compliance (based in HCM City, Vietnam)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and adhoc checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Advise business units on compliance matters, including providing of advisory support on new products and businesses from a compliance perspective
- Follow up on the compliance-related findings and their relevant rectification
Requirements:
- Degree holder in accountancy, finance, audit, legal or relevant qualification At least 2 years of compliance experience in the financial industry
- Good command of English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Excel)
Vice President - Head of Finance (based in HCM City, Vietnam)
Responsibilities:
- Plan, formulate and lead the Finance and Operations team
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the general ledger system as well as the processes required for the accurate reporting
- Direct, analyse, identify and minimise reconciliation concern areas
- Provide consultative advice and feedback on issues relating to accounting treatment and the general ledger system. Possess a good knowledge of international accounting and tax standards and practices
- Manage project organisation and resource allocation
- Analyse trends and compare company financial statements
- Report on the overall customer segments and product business performance
- Liaise with business heads and managing their information requirements, both regular and ad-hoc reporting
- In-charge of annual budgeting, management reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting including tax matters
- Develop and implement risk control and monitor risk mitigation initiatives
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in finance role in a fast-paced financial services environment, preferably with regional exposure and with big 4 audit firms
- Bachelor in Accountancy & Audit/ACCA or equivalent qualifications
- Strong financial and analytical experience - ability to solve problems, identify trends and recognize anomalies, work well under pressure and to prioritise workload
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead a team or a project
- Strong advanced excel skills with good familiarity in pivot tables
- Good command of English
